New Exercise: Lyric Writing Prompts
As we're moving into the last 3 days of the campaign, here's the last exercise for the Lyric Deck.
We're getting there, but...
I'm so excited to see that we're making good progress towards the Rhythm Deck, BUT: we could use some help! This would be a great moment to share the campaign with your friends, because every backer counts.

Well that was fast! German Version UNLOCKED, Rhythm Deck is next, New Exercise!

There will be a German Version!
Guten Tag. Wir machen eine deutsche Version! After the campaign has ended, you will get an invitation to our Pledge Manager, where you will be able to - surprise - manage your pledge. This includes exchanging your order for the German Decks or even upgrading your order to now include these new decks.
Next: Rhythm Deck
We need €19,300 to add these 27 cards to every copy of this product. I'm really, really excited about this deck, and I can't wait to start the design process. You will hear from me shortly, but for now, just know that this will be quite a unique design. It's going to be a lot of work on my end to get these to work, but I think that will pay off big time. Be very excited! :)

New Exercises: Madlibbin' Melodies & Harmony Writing Prompts
I'm back from Cologne and in my absence, two new exercises have been released to the YouTube channel. You can check them out here:
News on the Rhythm Decks
Not gonna lie, budgeting for 27 additional cards proved to be way harder than I thought it was gonna be. BUT: We finally have a number, and it's €19.300. That's how much we will need to unlock this deck of cards.
Why is this stretch goal so much more expensive than the first 27 cards we added? One, I will design these from the ground up. Two, and I don't want to say too much here, these new cards will have an awesome gimmick. They're not "just" cards, there's a little more going on here, something I have never seen anyone else do with cards before. This change is the main reason it took so long for Panda to write me a quote - this is new for them as well, and with over 10 Million produced games, that's saying something!
I'm very excited about this addition and I think it's really gonna blow you away when you see it. Keep an eye on your inbox for more. Let's first get that German version funded.

App unlocked - almost!
We practically did it (and since I'm taking off to Cologne today I thought I'd do the update now)! We're just 2 pledges away from unlocking the digital version of the Songwriting Decks. Super excited about this and can't wait to see what the guys over at Songcraft come up with.
Have a friend who might be able to use the decks? Send them a link, let them know, maybe they can tip us over the edge.
New Exercise: Crosswords
I got another exercise for you today. This was one of the first ones I came up with for Holistic Songwriting years ago, and it's proven to be a real game changer for a lot of people. I've been using this technique forever and I'm just really happy to see it's helping others as well.

It's official: If we make this Stretch Goal, we're making a German version! You will be able to select or add these in the Pledge Manager after the Campaign has ended. In other words, you can decide whether you want the German or English decks or you can upgrade if you want both.
The decks will be mostly identical in terms of content. There may be some changes made to the Lyric Decks.
That's it for now, I finally got the quotes in from Panda and a magnetic box is doable! It's gonna be a bigger stretch goal, but I think it'll really pay off! Not much news on the Rhythm Deck so far, as what I had in mind would be quite complex to produce. If we have the choice, I'll make sure we put in the cards rather than upgrading to the Magnetic Box. Will let you know!

The Section Cards in Action + The Livestream

The Section Cards in Action
Just wanted to share an idea with you that I'm quite excited about. With the Section Cards, you'll be able to build interesting structures in no time at all. You start with a card that says "Start" and simply follow the directions on the cards.
Then what you can do is put this structure on your wall and add post its underneath that you can write your lyrics on. Kind of like this:
As a bonus, you can also see the energy levels on the cards so with this, you can see your whole musical story at a glance.
Still no news from Panda unfortunately, I will let you know!

I also briefly talk about the Songwriting Decks at 2:50. The rest is me answering questions from Patrons and the YouTube live chat.
I love giving back to the community so I thoroughly enjoy the livestreams, which is also why this ran for 2.5 hours. I gave feedback to a bunch of songs and answered about 20 questions, so if you're ever cleaning your house and need something to put on in the background, I think it's perfect for that ;)
